1. As early as the 4th century AD there are writers supporting abortion. Their belief that the baby is not alive until the women feels the baby move.

2. Modern Era, former USSR was the first country to legalize abortion in 1920.

3. Adolf Hitler initiated Law for the Prevention of Progeny with Hereditary Diseases, which encouraged and legalized the abortion of babies due to not being racially valued

4. The 1850’s is when the pro-choice movement started in the United States, aborting was well know but people didn’t speak of it.

5. Until the 1960’s most states had laws preventing abortion, but no women were ever prosecuted for having an aborting and few doctor who did the aborting were prosecuted

6. On January 22, 1973 the Supreme Court made abortion legal throughout the United States
